Biddulph and the Great War

At War: The Fallen

In this chapter we pay tribute to the men and women of Biddulph who died in the service of their country during or as a result of the Great War.

Biographies of all those who are commemorated on the Biddulph War Memorials, having lost their lives during the Great War, have been researched and every effort has bee made to ensure that the information published is correct.

A separate section exists for each year of the terrible conflict, each section recording those who died in that particular year.

You can read a biography of each person listed in the annual tables by clicking on their surname which will be in bold text.

Please Note:

The galleries are organised in chronological order. If you wish to look for a name in it's alphabetical order then a list of the names can be found in a PDF document by clicking here to find the relevant gallery

If you have anything that you are able to add to a particular biography, either text or a photograph, or would like to have something corrected, please get in touch with the Reverend Hadfield and a member of the Society will contact you, as soon as possible.
